Connecting To Your Doctor Has Never Been Easier, Even At 2 a.m.

Hospitals around the country have developed new systems to integrate mobile technology into the lives of the patients and doctors aiming to make health care more connected and efficient. Houston’s health systems are no exception.

Last week, Memorial Hermann announced the rollout of the DocBookMD application to 1,800 physicians in its MHMD Accountable Care Network. The application allows physicians to communicate with their fellow physicians on a secure network to exchange messages, photos, notes and other pertinent information about patients they’re treating, said Dr. D.
